Counterfactual

An alternative reality or history developed by the Proposition in "This House regrets" (THR) motions. It outlines how the world would likely look if the phenomenon being regretted had never existed. It must be plausible and grounded in historical or societal realities, rather than an idealized utopian alternative. UADC 2025 Handbook, Appendix C: a situation that does not currently exist.
