The 8-minute constructive speeches that make up the main debate in WSDC.

• 1st Speaker: Articulates the team's stance, sets up definitions/modelling, and presents the foundational arguments.
• 2nd Speaker: Defends their 1st speaker's material (defensive rebuttal), attacks the opponent's case (offensive rebuttal), and continues the team's argumentation with new impacts, examples, and extensions.
• 3rd Speaker: Primarily focuses on deep rebuttal and clash resolution. The written rules allow a small part of the case if announced by the first speaker. The 2026 Manual's practice guidance excludes new independent arguments but permits new rebuttal and development of existing material (WSDC 2026 Manual, sections 6.4.1, 6.4.3, and 6.4.5).
