Diagonal Bench Dynamics

Comparisons between teams on opposite halves and opposite sides: OG vs CO and OO vs CG. Earlier teams cannot answer later speeches directly, so pre-emption, POIs, and later teams' engagement help judges compare their contributions (WUDC 2027 Manual, section 2.5).

• Same-bench / vertical comparisons: OG vs CG and OO vs CO. These concern which team's contribution adds more persuasive value on the same side; they are not diagonals.
